- Unity Health offers training and educational programs for associates at all levels of the organization. Training may include job-specific technical information as well as training on several professional skills. Continuing education credits may be offered for specific disciplines based on individual accreditation requirements.
Unity Health has a process to recognize and reward all associates for years of service and for outstanding service as recognized by your peers. This includes banquets, picnics, and Associate of the Quarter receptions.
An Emergency Assistance Fund has been established to help aid associates in emergency situations, such as rent, electricity, gas and water bills, food, car notes, keeping hospitalization in the fore, or unexpected tragedy such as house fire or tornado. All requests are reviewed on a case by case basis.
EAP — A program to assist all employees and eligible dependents with personal and work-related stresses and issues. Confidential counseling is provided for financial issues, addiction, domestic violence, psychological issues, and stress to name a few.
Career development
Unity Health provides tuition assistance of $1000 per fiscal year for undergraduate studies and $1500 per fiscal year for masters' degrees or degrees of higher education. Eligibility requirements must be met and an obligation to work at Unity Health is required.

The purpose of the clinical ladder is to recognize and promote individual responsibility for personal and professional growth among the nurses at Unity Health. The goal of this program is to foster accountability for strong, compassionate clinical practice that attracts and retains exemplary nurses at the bedside. It rewards registered nurses who demonstrate excellence in direct patient care roles and who continually improve quality of patient/family care. Applicants who complete the requirements are rewarded monetarily based on the level they achieve.
