Emergency Department

Our 13-bed, acute care emergency department provides care when you need it most. Our board-certified physicians and certified nurses are here to care for you or your family in times of need.

In partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Unity Health is a member of the IDHI Stroke Program (formerly AR SAVES). SAVES stands for Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support. It is a telemedicine program that allows our ER staff to connect with an off-site neurologist to diagnose and quickly treat people suspected of having a stroke.

Behavioral Health

Compass provides short-term comprehensive care, treatment and rehabilitation for adults 18 and older with a wide range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder and psychotic disorders. In any given year, nearly 1 in 5 adults suffer from behavioral and emotional problems. Some people may be impacted mildly, but others may be affected more severely with symptoms that can become debilitating. Our team of health care specialists at Compass can help.

Compass offers:

  • Inpatient treatment for adults 18 and older with behavioral health disorders.
  • A multidisciplinary treatment approach under the direction of a psychiatrist. Other members of the treatment team include nurses, program therapists, occupational therapists, activity therapists and mental health technicians.
  • An individual treatment plan based on the patient’s needs.
  • Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management, and activities therapy.
  • Education for family members.

Radiology

Unity Health - Jacksonville radiology department features brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment to care for your most pressing healthcare needs. We offer diagnostic X-rays, CT, MRI, 3D Mammography, and Ultrasounds.

Mammography

Our Mammography department will be able to provide screening, diagnostic, and 3D mammograms. Scheduling is done through the central scheduling department in Searcy at 501.380.1023.

Inpatient and Observation Services

Our inpatient and observation unit provides care with expert physicians and experienced nurses to bring you compassionate, quality healthcare.

Cardiopulmonary

Cardiopulmonary outpatient services include Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) and Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis. EKGs are a common and painless test used to quickly detect heart problems and monitor the heart's health for cardiac rhythm analysis and diagnosis.

Inpatient services are provided by Respiratory Therapists, specially trained health care professionals who work under physician's orders to provide a wide range of breathing treatments and other services to people with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, AIDS, and other lung or lung-related conditions. They are also key members of lifesaving response teams charged with handling medical emergencies.

All staff Respiratory Therapists hold national credentials of RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) and are licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioners by the State of Arkansas.
