Unity Health Hosts 25th Annual CommUnity of Caring Medical Outreach Event
SEARCY, AR., – July 8, 2021 – Unity Health will again host the 25th Annual CommUnity of Caring medical outreach. The event will be held on Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m. – Noon and located on Hawkins Dr. in Searcy. Non-medical services will be provided at the Unity Health Annex, 3004 Hawkins Dr., and medical services will be provided at at Searcy Medical Center, 2900 Hawkins Dr. In 2020, A Day of Caring transitioned to CommUnity of Caring to accommodate safety measures and healthcare regulations due to the global pandemic. For 24 years, Unity Health has been serving the health needs of hundreds of families in our community through this event.
The 2021 CommUnity of Caring medical outreach focuses on meeting individual health needs by providing medical exams, physicals, dental screenings, emotional health assessments, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and prescription assistance. The 2021 CommUnity of Caring event will provide grocery bags with non-perishable food items, family essentials packs, resource bags, car seat safety checks, bagged lunches, and fresh produce from local farmers.
