Graduate Medical Education Associates Attend Conference

Unity Health associates and medical residents attended the 2016 American Osteopathic Association conference in Anaheim, Calif., Sept. 17-20. The 121st Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition is the largest assembly of osteopathic physicians in the world.

Dr. Dewey McAfee, Dr. Conrad Braaten, Dr. Suporn Sukpraprut-Braaten, and Dr. Enrique Camacho attended the event. Principle investigator, Dr. Conrad Braaten, presented a research study titled, "Investigation of the Hospital Length of Stay and Risk of Readmission of Patients at a Rural Hospital." Research mentors from the Graduate Medical Education program included Dr. Bradley Hughes, Dr. Suporn Sukpraprut-Braaten and Dr. David Covey.
