Unity Health Answers Community Need
Unity Health – Harris Medical Center and the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting event for Unity Health – Senior Care.
The inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit has served Newport and the surrounding region for many years; however, years of use had left the unit in need of renovation. Unity Health answered the need and completed renovations during the first week of March.
Many older adults suffer from changes in behavior and emotions that require specialized treatment. Senior Care provides comprehensive therapy to address the uniqueness of aging. Specializing in the treatment of memory disorders and senior behavioral medicine, Senior Care offers behavioral solutions for memory loss, confusion, depression and sadness. Psychiatrist Dr. Witold P. Czerwinski provides a wide range of essential behavioral health services for all ages and diagnoses at Senior Care.
