Unity Health Auxiliary Installs Officers for 2017-2018
The Unity Health — White County Medical Center Auxiliary recently installed officers for the 2017-2018 Auxiliary Board of Directors at its annual awards luncheon.
Auxiliary members provide non-clinical support in various areas throughout the hospital. Last year alone, volunteers contributed 49,000 hours of service to the hospital. The Auxiliary works to raise funds for Unity Health Foundation campaigns, including the most recent efforts of the "Miracles Happen Every Day," campaign, benefitting the New Life Center at the Unity Health – White County Medical Center.
The mission of the Auxiliary is to support Unity Health by purchasing equipment, and providing funds for buildings and healthcare items that help the hospital best meet the needs of patients. The Auxiliary's primary means of raising money to donate to the Foundation is through managing the Carousel Gift Shoppes on the Unity Health — White County Medical Center and Unity Health — Specialty Care campuses.
