Unity Health Nurse Nominated for Compassion Award

Unity Healthy – Harris Medical Center (Unity Health – HMC) is proud to announce that Unity Health Registered Nurse Travis Carter, was recently nominated for the "Compassionate Nurse Award" through Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI). From across Arkansas, 53 nominees were selected through PCI and Carter was placed in the top 10 finalists.

"Travis is your ideal nurse; he excels at everything he does," said Jeremy Capps, Unity Health – HMC Director of Nursing. "When patients walk in, they immediately feel at ease when they find out he is their nurse and they ask for him by name. Not only is he a compassionate nurse, but he's a great leader and an outstanding employee. It is a great honor for him to be a nominated for this award and he is extremely deserving of this recognition."

Carter was also recently promoted to House Supervisor for the Unity Health – HMC nursing staff.

Publishing Concepts, Inc. has developed award-winning corporate, association and board publications for more than 400 clients nationwide. PCI has become the nation's largest publisher of State Boards of Nursing magazines as well as State Academies of Family Physicians journals.
