Unity Health Orthopaedic Surgeon Speaks to Searcy High School Students

Unity Health Orthopaedic Surgeon, Justin Franz, M.D., spoke to high school students at the Searcy Performing Arts Center on the process of performing a knee surgery. Through an arthroscopic lens, students were able to witness the surgical procedure on a cadaver appendage, and ask questions during the session. Franz and his assistants demonstrated the steps taken to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and damage to the meniscus.
