Audition rotation details

Interested in getting to know our residency programs more? We are pleased to accept fourth-year auditioning medical students for our core programs in two- and four-week blocks from August through February.

It's our policy that no student can be present on our campuses without a completed affiliation agreement between our hospital and the student's medical school. When applying, please confirm with the designated program coordinator if an agreement is in place, or include contact information for someone on your school's staff who can process the agreements.

Housing opportunities during your stay

Between wrapping up medical school and traveling to audition rotations, you have a lot on your plate. To make things easier, we have six single-occupancy rooms available to rent at our Unity Health - Specialty Care campus, four miles from the main hospital.

The rooms are full-sized, newly painted patient rooms with windows, private bathrooms, and locking doors. They are located in a quiet wing of the Specialty Care campus. Each room is furnished with a queen-size bed, rug, reclining chair, desk, office chair, lamp, two bedside tables, an entertainment center with drawers that hold a mini-fridge and microwave, a personal Keurig-type coffee maker, and a locking safe. All bed and bathroom linens are included. Additional amenities include two sets of washers and dryers on-site; a cafeteria (limited hours), and free Wi-Fi.

We rent rooms for $100 a week on a first-come, first-served basis. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a room and the business office can accept cash ($USD), personal checks from a US bank, or credit card payments. If you're interested, contact us at gme@unity-health.org to make a reservation.

Note: Searcy is a small town with a population of approximately 23,000. Uber/Lyft services are unavailable here, so you will need transportation. Also, check-in and check-out are only offered during our business hours, M-F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and no holidays.

Pictures will be added shortly.
