At Unity Health, we want to see our resident physicians thrive in their growing careers. In addition to the excellent hands-on training we offer, we also engage residents in a robust scholarly activity curriculum.
Under the guidance of your program director and Suporn Sukpraprut-Braaten, MSc, MA, PhD, Director of Research, you'll conduct research to present at conferences, submit abstracts and articles to journals, and participate in patient safety committees and QI projects.
As a scholar who has presented at many national conferences herself, Dr. Sukpraprut-Braaten knows what it takes to succeed in the academic world. She has been instrumental in guiding residents and faculty in obtaining funding and offering academic guidance.
We encourage you to explore the scholarly activity guidelines for our core programs (Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Psychiatry) as well as our Transitional Year program. These guidelines must be met in order for you to complete your residency with us.
